Battleground (2016) is an upcoming professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event and WWE Network event produced by WWE. It will take place on July 24, 2016 at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. It will be the fourth event under the Battleground chronology.

Can Daniel Bryan overcome the modern day corporate Champion Randy Orton to regain the WWE Championship? Plus, Alberto Del Rio defends his World Heavyweight Championship against Mr. PPV himself, Rob Van Dam!
